Metal Braces
Metal braces are the most common. They are made of high grade stainless steel. Today's braces are much smaller and more comfortable therefore, they are much more attractive. Most patients like to dress up the braces with different color elastic ties that can be changed at each appointment.
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces are translucent, tooth colored material.
They are most popular with the adult patients. They are difficult to see on the teeth unless you are very close to the patient.
Retainers
Some minor orthodontic problems can be corrected with retainer therapy. Retainers can be used on the upper and/or lower teeth. Retainers are given to each and every patient after treatment is completed to allow the teeth to settle in their straight position
Invisalign™
Invisalign™ is the clear way to straighten teeth without braces, using a series of aligners. Aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing, and you can still eat and drink what you want. Also, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth. There are no metal wires or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.
Many of our patients had never considered traditional braces, but are now happily and comfortably improving their smiles with Invisalign™.
