Dr. Jorgensen is very proud of his orthodontic team. Each member is carefully selected to ensure that their skill and dedication reflect our high standard of care. They each have valuable experience and participate regularly in continuing education courses and seminars.
In addition to paying careful attention to technical detail, we also believe in treating patients to a fun and enjoyable orthodontic experience. Orthodontic treatment and its final result are meant to enhance the quality of life of our patients. We take our work very seriously and pride ourselves in being the best part of our patients' day. When it comes to orthodontic treatment, there is no substitute for enthusiastic patient participation. We know that participation goes up when our patients feel comfortable with the staff and doctor.
MARY CARLSON - OFFICE MANAGER
Mary came to us from Minnesota where she and Roger, her husband, raised their three sons. She has been a certified and registered dental assistant for over 30 years. For enjoyment, she loves to vegetable garden, read and cheer on the Vikings.
SHANNA DEVINE-SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Shanna was born in San Diego, California. Her family had the good fortune of moving around frequently when she was young. She has lived in California, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Arizona and Colorado. Shanna has been in the Orthodontic and Dentistry fields for the past 13 years. She has held various positions in her professional career, including clinical assistant, treatment coordinator, records technician and now scheduling coordinator. As a matter of fact, this is the second time Shanna has worked for Dr. J. She worked here from 1998 to 2003 and came back to us in March 2006. Shanna loves spending time with her fiance Kevin and their dogs, Jackson and Samba, as well as reading and watching movies.
SUZY DEDECKER-ORTHODONTIC TECHNICIAN
Suzy is a Colorado native. She graduated from Front Range Community College dental assisting program in December 2002. She has worked with Dr. Jorgensen since January 2003. Suzy, her husband, David, and their son, Jake, enjoy spending time riding ATVs.
TAMMY CURLESS-ORTHODONTIC TECHNICIAN
Tammy is a native of Loveland, Colorado. She continues to reside there with her husband Kent and their children, Jesse, Job, Selena and Aliyah. They also have two dog named Buddy and Benson.
After graduating from high school, Tammy attended cosmetology school but later decided to be a stay-at-home mom and raise her kids. She attended Dental Assistant Training Academy and graduated in May 2005.
Tammy enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family. She also enjoys being outside doing yard work, camping with her family, beading, photography and scrap booking with her mom.
RACHAEL HUGHES-TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Rachael is a Missouri native. She moved to Colorado in 1991 where she met and married her husband, Jason. They have three children: Alex, Mykaela, and Morgan.
Rachael has been in dentistry her whole life, starting at the tender age of ten helping in her father’s dental office. Since 1993, she has worked in Orthodontics, General Dentistry, and Periodontics. She is thrilled to be back in her favorite dental environment!
Outside of work, Rachael loves spending time with her family, cheering for her kids at their sporting and music events, enjoying her husband’s cooking, playing soccer, and reading.
